Mid-century armchair model no. 843-C designed by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates, circa 1960s. The frame of this lounge is made from solid walnut wood. Made in the United States, yet it has a strong Danish influence.
The armrests are scooped adding visual appeal. The back features spindles that showcase the back cushion from behind. The legs are tapered with a rectangular crossbar connecting the front and back legs for stability. This chair has a square profile, but is extremely dynamic from all angles.
We have newly reupholstered this lounge with new foam and fabric. Fabric is a light earthy green velvet. Soft to the touch and quite durable. We have added buttons to the cushions for a classic look. In overall fantastic vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
