Mid-Century Model 80 Teak Desk by Arne Wahl Iversen for Vinde Møbelfabrik
Mid-century desk designed by Arne Wahl Iversen for Vinde Møbelfabrik, Denmark. Made circa 1960s and crafted from rich, warm teak wood. The desk showcases the material’s natural grain and deep hues, offering both sophistication and durability. The simple and clean lines of the desk are on par with Danish design concepts. The desk features a spacious work surface and five drawers for storage. Drawer handles are integrated, made from carving the wood into oval shapes - no excess hardware and letting the teak wood be the forefront. The rectangular shaped desk sits atop long architectural legs that are also rectangular in shape. The back of the desk is finished and equipped with two cubbies allowing the piece to float in the middle of a room or office. Add books or decor items in the cubbies for visual interest and extra storage. The Vinde Møbelfabrik craftsmanship shines through in the precision of the joinery and the smooth, polished finish, demonstrating a commitment to quality and timeless design. In great vintage condition with minor wear present. Item has been newly refinished with one minor gouge in back left corner which has been filled, corrected and blended as pictured.
