Mid-century pair of lounge chairs designed by Erwin Lambeth for Tomlinson, circa 1950s. An absolutely gorgeous pair made from sculpted walnut wood.
The walnut frames are visually stunning from every angle. Long rounded legs that taper at the top and connect to the armrests. The back legs splay outwards ever so slightly. The sleek armrests continue to flow into the back of the chair creating a walnut band for the back support. The walnut frame snugly fits the cushion into place and contrasts wonderfully against the fabric.
We have reupholstered this pair with new fabric and foam. The fabric is a blue mohair, soft to the touch and compliments the wood tone while adding contrast to showcase the wooden frames. The color of the mohair is blue with hints of gray - a dusty navy. The color is fantastic for those who are looking for a pop of color, but somewhat neutral. In fantastic vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
