Mid-century ‘Gondola’ sofa by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates, circa 1960s. Iconic mid-century design with walnut accents.
Long profile sofa sitting atop sculpted walnut legs. The front legs are triangular in shape and the back legs are tapered. The legs look fantastic from the side profile. The front of the sofa features a walnut accent that ties into the legs. Equipped with sleek armrests and a rectangular backrest. On both the right and left-hand side are openings where the backrest does not meet the armrests, giving the piece a more modern look.
We have newly reupholstered this sofa with new foam and fabric. The fabric is a dark green with gray undertones. Earthy and modern. There are three cushions aligning the backrest and one long cushion for the seat. All cushions are tufted with buttons to align with the original styled upholstery. In overall fantastic vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
