Mid-century armchair manufactured by Kroehler, circa 1960s. Very much in the style of Adrian Pearsall.
Sitting atop a sculpted walnut wooden base that gives the chair its Pearsall aesthetic. The legs, in our opinion, is the focal point. The body of the lounge also features sculptural moments with armrests that swoop and a backrest that has a crescent shape. The backrest is taller than many mid-century lounges allowing for a comfortable seated position. The backrest also features three buttons giving it the classic MCM look.
This chair has been reupholstered, but not recently. Fabric is a tweed material with baby blue and white undertones mixed throughout to create a great balance of a pop of color and somewhat neutral palette. Fabric does present some basic wear, but no major rips or holes to note. In overall great vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
