Set of six mid-century model no. 49 dining chairs designed by Erik Buch. A Scandinavian modern aesthetic made from teak wood. The teak wood frames accentuate the chair as they connect the seat to the back coming to a rounded point at the top and at the seat. The back legs are splayed outward ever so slightly and all legs taper towards the floor. The backrests are oval in shape with a slight curve to cradle the back for maximum comfort.
This seat features the original upholstery. Fabric is neutral in color and hop-sack style with a thick basket like weave. Speckles of brown and orange add warmth to the tan fabric. The fabric is in excellent vintage condition with minors areas of wear present. No major rips or tears in the upholstery. A wonderful set of dining chairs that would look fantastic paired with a variety of tables.
