Vintage pair of bauhaus or art deco style lounges. In the stylings of Louis Sognot. An extremely comfortable pair with chrome tubular frames.
The chrome frames have a rectangular shape for the back support. The back support is continuous meeting the ground. The backrests and base showcase the fabric and create lovely definition. The frame bends into arches creating armrests. The position of the frame allow for a bit of recline in the seated position, which is immensely comfortable. We love chrome and mixing metals with the traditional wooden furniture from the mid-century era.
We have newly reupholstered these lounges in a fabric we have been awaiting to use for the perfect piece. The base color is teal blue with small black square accents. The fabric is extremely unique, soft, and works really well to contrast the chrome. Add a pop of color, texture, and a mix of materials in your home with this pair. In overall great vintage condition with minor areas of wear present consistent with age and use. Minor areas of pitting on the chrome frames.
