Large mid-century lamp. Manufactured by Modeline of California, circa 1960s. A perfect culmination of sculpture and lighting. The base is made from sculpted walnut wood with a brass square centered and matching the brass stem. Four slender walnut pieces lead from the base, encasing the shade, and coming to a crown at the top.
The side pieces have oval cutouts with blue resin accents, which adds a subtle little pop of color. When natural light hits the resin inserts, it transfers the color onto the neutral shade. The long linen white shade is geometric and diffuses the light wonderfully. The brass pull switch has three different light settings allowing the user to adjust the brightness.
This lamp is extremely unique with so many elements to love. In overall good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. Minor discoloration pictured on shade.
