Mid-Century Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates Model 2408 Sofa
Mid-century model no. 2408-S sofa designed by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates, circa 1960s. This sofa is the complimentary piece to the 2406 lounge by Pearsall which we also have in stock.
An iconic mid-century retro sofa with a streamlined appearance and features classically Pearsall. Such as the long sculpted walnut base. The sofa seems to float atop the base and gives so much dimension. The sofa is long and boxy which works perfectly with the base as to not overcomplicate the design.
We have newly reupholstered this sofa. It got the full treatment with new straps, new foam, and new fabric. Fabric is a green velvet and coloration is closer to a sage green with a little forest green mix. In our opinion it’s the perfect “natural green” and a bit of an ode to the past. We have actually used this fabric on our own sofa at home with three pets and we can attest it is extremely durable and easy to clean. We did tufted buttons on both sides of each cushion to keep the original look and easy to flip.
A perfect sofa for multiple styled interiors. In overall good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
