Mid-century model no. 2406 lounge by Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates, made circa 1960s. This iconic lounge is the complimentary piece to the Pearsall 2408 sofa which we also have in stock.
Highly sought after lounge with the sculpted walnut base being the show stopper element. The base is the signature design of Adrian Pearsall. Sitting atop the base is a boxy chair frame. The chair compliments the base and does not overcomplicate the design. Allowing the streamlined approach to shine while still maintaining a retro appearance.
We have reupholstered this lounge in an earthy green velvet. A durable fabric that works well with the walnut base. We chose to add buttons to match the original button-tufted design and to give the cushions some dimension. The back cushion is angled for great lumbar support. In overall great vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
