Mid-Century Lounge Chairs by Kroehler - A pair
Mid-century lounge chairs manufactured by Kroehler, circa 1950s. This pair features a vibrant earthy green upholstered body. Arched walnut legs frame the sides of the chairs. The legs add more earthy appeal, contrast against the fabric wonderfully, and create fantastic side-profile dimension. The flared armrests that taper into the backrests are elegant and an ode to the classic.
This pair has been newly reupholstered with new fabric. The fabric is a lighter green, but earthy and would work well with a variety of interiors. This fabric is manufactured by Knoll textiles Maharam entitled Meld in the color way 466387-032 Vine. The bottom cushion is sewn into the frame creating a seamless look. There are three buttons that provide definition to the backrest.
