Mid-Century Model FA-66 Credenza by Ib Kofod Larsen
Large mid-century teak sideboard or credenza. This model FA-66 credenza was designed by Ib Kofod Larsen for Faarup Møbelfabrik, circa 1960s. Quintessentially Danish streamlined design with gorgeous book-matched teak. Extremely versatile piece as it could be used as a traditional sideboard or media console.
Featuring four large square doors with carved oval inlay pulls. Three doors open to roomy cabinets and adjustable shelves. The furthest left-hand door opens to five small drawers. Four rectangular deeper set drawers align the top of the credenza. Each drawer has carved inlay pulls along the bottom. The lack of hardware on this piece allows the natural beauty of the teak to steal the show. The credenza sits on a teak stretcher base with uniquely shaped legs. In overall good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
Dimensions:
90.5” W x 19.5” D x 30” H
