Artist Statement
“River Bend” is one of the four landscapes where I looked at incorporating nature as buildings. The foreground is mountains which appears to be out of place. The river runs above them harboring the boulders and monuments which are carried from left to right. The flow of time rushes to the right of the painting, compressing itself into the collision to come.”
