Mid-Century Three Bay Wall Unit by Regner Christensen
Mid-Century Danish three bay wall unit designed by Regner Christensen in a walnut finish. This piece features four total cases and five shelves all of which are modular. Unit could potentially be a 4 or even 5 bay if rails were cut.
Two of the cases have double doors with carved inset handles and lovely door framing. Two cabinets, one small and one large, have sliding double doors with groove-like panels. One cabinet has a drop down door which makes for a perfect secretary desk or bar. The difference in door function and style add dimension to the piece and showcase Danish craftsmanship. The five shelves allow the user to display and stage books, pottery, or whatever your collection may be. Interior cabinets perfect for records or media equipment.
The walnut finish is warmer and darker than most Danish furniture, ie., teak. Perfect for those who prefer American made wood tones mixed with the streamlined and practical approach of Danish design.
