Mid-century sculpted walnut barrel lounge. Designed by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin, circa 1960s.
The frame of this lounge is not only comfortable but simply stunning. The backrest is curved with a horseshoe silhouette. The back connects seamlessly with the armrests and connects to the rest of the frame via spindles. The back legs splay outwards and taper. The front legs have a slight curve and also taper. The frame is fantastic from every angle.
We have newly reupholstered this lounge with new foam and velvet green fabric. The green coloration compliments the warm wood tone and provides a pop of color. In overall great vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
