The base is bulb-shaped glazed ceramic in a rich dark brown. The base is deceiving as it looks as if it could be wooden showcasing excellent technique. The shade is original and made from fiberglass and wrapped in twine. The twine gives the shade a lovely texture to contrast with the smooth body of the base.
A collectible lamp with classic mid-century appeal. In overall great vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
