I’m Talking to You by Nicholas Portanova
Original Artwork by Nicholas Portanova
Entitled I’m Talking to You , 2024
Acrylic on canvas, framed

“I’m Talking to You” is inviting you to engage. The white and blue eye captures the viewer immediately forcing an attraction to find out more about this beautiful woman.
The colors are mostly muted to allow for the focus to be on the colors of the eye and mouth. A band of apricot is slashed across the face to balance the blue and to add movement. The perspective is right, wrong, right, wrong and … right? Is she straining to look over her shoulder at you or is she just casually, comfortably inviting you in to her space? You can visit her many times and always find new questions to ask her and that is what the painting is really about.
Dimensions:
16” W x 1.5” D x 20” H
