Set of six model no. 68 mid-century dining chairs. Referred to as the ‘Fire’ dining chairs designed by Kai Kristiansen, Denmark circa 1960s.
The silhouette is extremely sculptural and dramatic. Crafted from teak wood in a warm tone. The frames have an angular z-shape that transition seamlessly into the curved wraparound backrests. The angles of the chair are unique and highlight the craftsmanship. The frame shape is not only stunning but provides an ergonomic seated position.
This set is in the original black vinyl. The vinyl is durable and easy to clean. The original upholstery is in overall good vintage condition. There is one small rip on the backrest of one chair but no other rips or tears to note. Minor patina consistent with age and use.
Dimensions:
19.25” W x 20” D x 29” H
Seat Height: 16.5” H
