Mid-century large modular ‘Hochbarett’ sofa. This sofa was produced by Karl Wittman for Wittman Möbelwerkstätten, made in Austria circa 1970s. There are nine total pieces, seven straight sections and two corner sections, all of which are modular. Use as one long sofa, create sectional bends, or separate pieces as an accent chair - many opportunities. This sofa is low profile, yet extremely comfortable. Featuring the original brown leather. Please note the leather is in fair condition with wear and tear. We would recommend this sofa to be reupholstered.
Each individual piece is formed with two structural cushions. Leather is layered atop the main cushions and folds along the top and bottom. This creates a dimensional and more modern look. All pieces sit atop short rounded legs. Perfect for those looking for versatile seating possibilities or the sunken living room look.
