Mid-century large sideboard or credenza. This model FA-66 credenza was designed by Ib Kofod Larsen for Faarup Møbelfabrik, circa 1960s. Perfectly streamlined design with book-matched teak wood. Excellent grain lines throughout the front and top.
Featuring four large square doors with carved oval inlay pulls. Three of the four doors open to spacious compartments with an adjustable shelf. The furthermost left-hand door open to a bank of five small drawers.
Aligning the top are rectangular deeper set drawers. Each drawer has carved inlay pulls along the bottom. The lack of hardware allows the natural beauty of the teak and Danish craftsmanship to be the focal point.
The credenza is supported by a teak stretcher base with tapered teak legs. In overall great vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
Dimensions:
90.5” W x 19.5” D x 30” H
