Mid-century blanket chest manufactured by Lane Furniture, circa 1960s. The external body is made from walnut wood with panel accents. It is supported by tapered wooden legs with a low-profile design. The interior is lined with red cedar wood.
The chest opens by a push button mechanism located on the front. The original key is present to lock the chest if desired. Maker’s mark is found within the interior along with the key package. A perfect piece for blanket storage, clothing storage, or other personal items. In overall good vintage with minor wear consistent with age and use.
