Incredible and iconic vintage table lamp designed by Finnish designer Lisa Johansson-Pape. Pape was a pioneer in luminaire design work and one of Finland’s most prolific designers. Original maker’s sticker present as pictured. This lamp model is the ‘T-178’ version.
Crafted entirely from frosted opaque glass. The frosted glass gives the lamp a white coloration. Once illuminated, the glass diffuses the light beautifully. The shape of the lamp bears resemblance to a mushroom. Organic, yet space age design. This version is quite tall and works well with any style interior. In overall great vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
