Vintage burl wood credenza designed by Edward Axel Roffman and manufactured in the U.S. Original maker’s sticker present as pictured.
This piece features incredible burl woodgrain throughout the entire piece, including the finished back. We do not often get burl wood pieces, though it showcases some of our favorite grain, this piece exemplifies why we love it so much. Extremely sturdy and well made. The chunky legs are flanked on either side of the credenza and connect to the top creating a fantastic border.
There are seven drawers total. Six of the drawers are smaller, yet still provide ample storage potential. There is one deep drawer perfect for files or larger items. Two of the drawers feature a lock, but unfortunately we do not have the key. Drawers still function without key present. There are four lucite drawer organizational dividers that are adjustable or completely removable for the smaller drawers. The middle of the credenza has two double push doors that open to a large open cabinet.
A gorgeous and uncommon piece that would be the perfect media console, entryway piece, or home office storage. In overall great vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. Some minor discoloration spots on top as pictured.
