Swedish Cattails by local ceramicist Susanne Portanova.
MASSIVE ceramic vase, square in shape with lots of texture and engraved accents. Portanova draws inspiration from her time in Sweden. The cattails motif, engraved and hand painted, borders each side of the vase in three panels. The cattails are separated by tan lines with orange glaze dots. The ends of the vase are tan with a ridge design. Large oval shaped opening perfect for large-scale floral arrangements. This piece is Portanova’s largest creation to date.
