This piece has a beautifully contoured shape with an oval mid-section focal point. The top follows the notion of the oval shaped mid-section and comes to a point on either end of the opening. Off-white base tones with pops of deep blue painted atop perfectly accentuates the shape of the vase. Portanova’s approach to the classical while embedding personal touches and styling.
Stoneware, underglaze painted on leather hard clay and clear glaze high fired to cone six.
