‘WE-C-U’ by local artist Vincent Whitehurst
Mixed media on canvas
A pastel dream of a painting combining colors of light blue and purple in abstract fashion. The background color is a creamy off-white that highlights the other colors nicely. Whitehurst adds eye shapes in black hidden amongst the colors and giving this piece its namesake. Consistent with Whitehurst’s other works, the more you look at this painting the more you see. It is playful, colorful, and uniquely his style.
Dimensions:
41” W x 1.5” D x 41” H
